Every year the International Museum Day is celebrated and a theme for reflection is proposed to be shared between the museum community and society. This year the propose: Museums and controversial stories. History is an essential instrument in the definition of the identity of a people or territory, as well as painful or traumatic stories, often unknown or seen from different perspectives, concern us and concern each one of us. That’s why we did organize a meeting between the people form different communities and museums, to start talking about their history and how the museums of the Los Ríos region are engaged in the story of these.
