Ecomuseums are unique pieces of history and culture that can be found not only across Canada, but across the globe. An ecomuseum, in its most basic definition, expresses a sense of place.To be more specific, these types of museums are each created specifically to share the sense of a distinct place with others; highlighting their community, the people within it and both their natural and cultural heritage.
