The Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú was founded in March 1917. Since that date it has been developing its educational, research and social support, aspects that in the 21st century place the PUCP as the first university in the country, highly ranked at Latin American and world level.

For thirty years the university has been generating and supporting projects that link intellectual and social aspects as a focus of development within the institution and with collaborators, for the benefit of the Peruvian population.

La Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú fue fundada en marzo de 1917, desde esa fecha viene desarrollando su labor educativa, de investigación y de apoyo social, aspectos que en el siglo XXI colocan a la PUCP como la primera casa de estudios del país, y de gran posicionamiento a nivel latinoamericano y mundial.

Desde hace treinta años la universidad genera y apoya proyectos que vinculen lo intelectual y social como foco de desarrollo tanto al interior de la institución o con cooperantes externos en beneficio de la población peruana.

Following its supporting guidelines for initiatives that generate the development of the national population, the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) was very interested in being part of the EULAC MUSEUMS Project.

The PUCP has an articulating, administrative and supportive role through its areas linked to the conservation of the cultural heritage of the various regions of Peru.

In this process, it collaborates with the Peruvian institutions involved in the project, giving advice and encouragement for the fulfilment of its objectives and for the benefit of our society.

Siguiendo con su lineamiento de apoyo a las iniciativas que generan desarrollo de la población nacional, la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú estuvo muy interesada en
formar parte del Proyecto EULAC MUSEUMS y como parte de él, tiene un rol articulador, administrativo y de apoyo a través de sus áreas vinculadas a la conservación del patrimonio cultural de diversas regiones del Perú.

En este proceso realiza un esfuerzo conjunto con las instituciones peruanas que participan en el proyecto, a las que va asesorando e impulsando para el cumplimiento de sus objetivos y en beneficio de nuestra sociedad.
