Members of the Chilean team are participating in the 17th annual UMAC Conference, hosted by the University of Helsinki and the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. This year’s topic is “Global Issues in University Museums and Collections: Objects, Ideas, Ideologies and People”, to what UACh responded by presenting a poster based on a case study that illustrates how collaboration between University Museums and Communities regarding social and legal protection of collections--ceramics, in this case--can foster and promote sustainable heritage management.

Our team has also been active in other aspects of the Conference, where they have presented and discussed the EU LAC project with colleagues from all over the world.
