El museo se encuentra instalado en la Casa del Estudiante de Boqueta, antiguo hogar de labradores, construida durante la primera década del siglo XX. Nace como iniciativa de La Fundación para el Desarrollo de l’Horta Sud, cuyo propósito es la difusión de la cultura tradicional de la comarca, que adquirió el inmueble en 1995 y comenzó con la recogida de piezas que fueron aportando los vecinos de la comarca para poder configurar las colecciones.
The museum is in the Casa del Estudiante de Boqueta, former home of farmers, built during the first decade of the twentieth century. The museum was born as an initiative of the Foundation for the Development of l'Horta Sud, whose purpose is the dissemination of the traditional culture of the region, which acquired the property in 1995 and began with the collection of pieces that were contributed by the residents of the region to configure the collections.
