Bravery and a sense of place in abandoned lands: the role of eco- and community museums.

Proposed by EULAC MUSEUMS project, the round-table on “Bravery and a sense of place in abandoned lands: the role of eco- and community museums” has taken place in the frame of the Museums Association Conference & Exhibition 2016, held in Glasgow, from 7 to 9 November 2106. The round table was convened by Gillian Findlay (City of Edinburgh Council), having as speakers Karen E. Brown (Univ. St Andrews), Luis Raposo (ICOM-Europe), Andy Wightman (MSP). It has been followed by about one hundred attendants which have also participated in a final group workshop, based in some of the provocative ideas raised by speakers.
