Comunidad y Patrimonio: el Museo Comunitario Chacas (Ancash, Perú) un caso de gestión participativa en la revalorización del patrimonio arqueológico

The decisions made between local people together with project technicians when developing and implementing a museum project have allowed the people from Chacas (Ancash, Perú) to (re)value their heritage and to feel identified with their cultural history. In this paper, the processes of participation in the construction of a museum in the community are illustrated, emphasizing the importance of participatory management in heritage related projects.

La toma de decisiones conjunta entre la población local y el equipo técnico a la hora de elaborar y ejecutar un proyecto museístico ha permitido que los pobladores comunidad de Chacas, Ancash, Perú (re)valoren su patrimonio y se sientan identificados con su historia cultural. En el presente artículo, se dan a conocer los procesos de participación comunitaria en la construcción de un museo en dicha comunidad, enfatizando en el discurso la importancia de una gestión participativa en proyectos relacionados con el patrimonio.
