Representatives of EU-LAC-MUSEUMS contributed to a suite of lectures and meetings on the occasion of the joint ICOM-LAC, ICOFOM-LAM, ICOFOM, and ICOM Cuba conference held this September in Havana. Project Coordinator Karen Brown and PhD student Kate Keohane spoke about it to the Board of ICOM-LAC, and to the conference. Meanwhile, Alissandra Cummins (PI for UWI) was a Keynote speaker on the politics of museum display, and President of ICOM-LAC and EU-LAC-MUSEUMS Steering Committee member, Samuel Franco Arces spoke to his important work with the Blue Shield and post-disaster recovery. Luis Repeto, PI for PUCP was also in attendance and contributed to joint meetings.
