Youth participants create a video to introduce themselves to their colleagues in Scotland and Costa Rica.
During the first Portuguese youth exchange on the 21st of January at the Hat Museum in São João da Madeira, the six youth participants of the project gathered together to create a video where they introduce themselves to their colleagues in three different languages: Portuguese, Spanish and English. For the activity, the youngsters were challenged to decorate three hats representing the involved countries in the project. Organized in groups of two and also with the help of several parents, each team reimagined Scotland, Costa Rica and Portugal in the shape of a hat.
One of the goals of the project is to encourage and foster healthy and sustainable connections between the youth groups and through which the group aims to explore the various ways they can communicate with their counterparts.
