The EU-LAC-MUSEUMS proposed resolution on "Museums, Communities and Sustainability" has been voted yes by the vast majority of ICOM voting members at the ICOM Summit, Kyoto, Japan. It marks a historic moment for bi-regional and international cultural cooperation concerning the role of community-based museums in today’s world.
