During the year 2019, within the framework of the EULAC MUSEUMS project, the museums of the Network of Museums and Cultural Centers of the Los Rios Region, were registered in the National Registry of Museums (RNM), being able to apply for funding to improve both its museography and collections. In this context, the Malalhue Community Museum had access to financing (Comprehensive Museum Improvement Fund) to improve the conditions of the exhibition by developing new media, infographics, documentation of collections and some inclusive formats, which account not only for the history of the territory, but the value of the museum in terms of it being an inclusive space that promotes a tolerant, respectful and dynamic community by fostering local community memory processes.
