Panoramas, or spherical panoramas, or 360 Photography is a technique of photography where you use specialized equipment to capture the entire surrounding of a location instead of just one angle. This technique is very good to create virtual images of museum spaces and create an immersive visit via websites.
Today, anyone can create a 360 photoImages with different equipment: from specialized cameras, DSRL cameras, and even with mobile phones. The 360º image file can be archived and uploaded to a social archiving website such as Roundme (in this case). As a social site, Roundme tracks a user’s followers, views and comments. All digital objects appear in a web player which can be embedded in websites easily.
