    The process of inventorying intangible cultural heritage and making those inventories accessible to the public can also encourage creativity and self-respect in the communities and individuals where expressions and practices of intangible cultural heritage originate.

    Communities may decide, for instance, to indicate who the custodians of certain knowledge are. Providing information about an element of intangible cultural heritage in an inventory makes access to that element easier.

WP2 is coordinated by participant 3, the Museu Nacional de Arqueologia, Portugal (MNA/DGPC).
The lead partner did construct both the databases and the web portal and is assisting all partners in uploading its contents. Partners introduce all contents they consider to be relevant for the project goals in the database. When requested by partners, the lead partner will also upload contents already in existence on the web or any social media. The lead partner have also to maintain the portal.
This website, web templates and the database were developed by "Memoria Imaterial CRL"(www.memoriamedia.net) for MNA/DGPC, using open source software.
